A 96KHZ-24bit pass, using a valve signal at minus ten decibels (to eliminate turntable rumble), was conducted several times in order to gauge the best results. No attempt was made to rebalance or EQ. A half speed master was then cut at AIR Mastering and a test pressing was then dubbed using the same process and the dynamic range compared against the original pressing.
